Meanwhile, the current harvest is roughly 30% complete, with ABARES’ September forecast projecting a 2024/25 wheat crop of 33.77 mln t. Lachstock Consulting, as of October 30, expects further growth ahead: production in MY 2025/26 could rise to 36.83 mln t, with exports potentially reaching 24.59 mln t.
