In 2023, Bosnia’s Federation saw a decrease in the area sown with wheat, barley, and rye during the autumn sowing season. The wheat-sown area decreased by 1.4% year-on-year to 16,479 hectares, the barley-sown area decreased by 8.0% to 3,680 hectares, and the rye-sown area fell by 5.5% to 1,406 hectares, as reported by the entity’s statistical office.
