Brazil's sugar and molasses exports have seen a significant decrease in the first 12 business days of this year, with a daily average drop of 23.8% compared to January 2024. The average export volume has decreased to 109,738.3 tons from 144,082 tons, leading to a 32.3% reduction in average revenue. The price of these exports has also decreased by 11.1%, from US$ 536.7/ton to US$ 477.2/ton. Consequently, Brazil has invoiced US$ 628,355.4 thousand from these exports in the first seven business days of the year, a figure that is significantly lower than the US$ 1,701,124.2 thousand invoiced in the same period of January 2024.
