Netherlands: Average yield per hectare of silage maize in 2020 was 44.9 tons

The average yield of one hectare of silage maize was 44.9 tons last year. Almost 194,700 hectares of silage maize were grown. This means that the acreage was more than 8,000 hectares larger last year than in 2019, but about 9,000 hectares smaller than in 2017.
