The Research and Development Center of the Bank for Agriculture and Agricultural Cooperatives (BAAC) has forecasted an increase in the prices of several agricultural products for November 2021 due to various factors. The price of jasmine paddy is expected to rise by 5.02-7.32% due to floods in northeast Thailand, and cassava prices are expected to increase by 4.85-7.25% due to the beginning of the cassava production season. However, the prices of paddy rice and long-grain glutinous paddy are expected to decrease by 0.82-2.81% and 1.09-2.81%, respectively, due to increased production and availability in the market. Additionally, the prices of maize, raw rubber sheets, and raw sugar are also expected to decrease due to increased production and reduced demand.
