In particular, the chloroplast genome information of Miscanthus tenuissimus, Miscanthus lutarioriparius, and Miscanthus condensatus has been revealed for the first time.

The genetic information of these chloroplast genomes has been registered with the National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) of the United States' World Gene Bank (GenBank) and the National Biodata Station (K-BDS).
