The General Authority for Veterinary Services at the Ministry of Agriculture is implementing plans to improve animal production and red meat production, including livestock numbering programs, developing veterinary units, and awareness programs on artificial insemination. The ministry is also monitoring births and slaughter rates to provide accurate data for planning and identifying needs for meat, vaccines, and care.
