Banco do Brasil experienced a further deterioration in results, still influenced by non-payment in agribusiness and increased provisions. The bank ended the third quarter of this year with an adjusted net profit of R$ 3.785 billion, a drop of 60.2% compared to the same period in 2024. Compared to the second quarter, the result remained stable. The return on equity (ROE) closed the third quarter at 8.4%, the same as in the second period of this year and 21.1% 12 months ago. The indicator remained at its lowest level since 2016. The expanded credit portfolio grew 7.5% in one year, to R$ 1.278 trillion. On a quarterly basis, there was a 1.2% drop.
