REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, SURAKARTA – The National Food Agency (Bapanas) recorded a decrease in rice prices in 214 regencies/cities at the beginning of November 2025, up from 179 areas at the beginning of October. This trend indicates a stabilization of prices that is beginning to spread ahead of the high consumption period at the end of the year. Head of Bapanas Andi Amran Sulaiman conveyed this development while conducting a surprise inspection at Pasar Legi, Surakarta, on Thursday (13/11/2025). He assured that the prices of SPHP, medium, and premium rice were within the range or below the HET. "Thank God, the prices are good and stable. There is SPHP rice priced at Rp 12,000 per kilo. Then there is medium rice at Rp 13,000 per kilo. The HET premium is Rp 14,900 and medium is Rp 13,500. This means they are in line with and even below the HET," said Amran.
