The barley market in Ukraine in April 2026 faced a severe shortage, particularly of brewing grain. Currently, brewing barley is practically unavailable for sale, which has caused a sharp increase in prices. Farmers who held stocks found themselves in a favorable position, having the opportunity to sell the grain at a high price.
