Since 2023, Bashkortostan's oil extraction plants have exported over 11,457 tons of plant feed, including granulated sunflower meal and sugar beet pulp, to Latvia and China. The exports were controlled and approved by the State Border of the Russian Federation and Transport of the Territorial Administration of Rosselkhoznadzor, with over 8,000 tons of sunflower meal and over 3,000 tons of beet pulp inspected and issued export veterinary certificates. All exported feed met the requirements of the importing countries.
