In the first quarter, Russia exported over 13,000 tons of oil flax seeds to EU countries, with the Kaliningrad region and the Baltic states serving as the primary destination for re-export to Belgium and the Netherlands. All shipments met quality and safety standards, aligning with the requirements of the Customs Union and EU. This export forms part of Russia's national project 'International Cooperation and Export', which aimed to become a net exporter of agricultural products and food, a goal achieved in 2020. The country saw record food supplies abroad, with a total of 79 million tons of agricultural products exported for $30.7 billion to 150 countries. Bashkiria specifically surpassed its export targets, generating $165 million from agricultural products expected to bring in $115 million.
