Bashkiria, a region in Russia, has seen a rise in feed exports to the EU, with shipments reaching 22 thousand tons in January-February this year. The exports, mainly sunflower-seed products such as cake and meal, are regularly ordered by Germany, the Benelux countries, and the Baltic states. These products are used in the production of combined feed for livestock and poultry. Last year, Bashkiria's agricultural exports earned over $165 million, with fat and oil products contributing 56% of the revenue.
