BB/Prince: today 75% of the portfolio in Rio de Janeiro is provisioned

By André Marinho and Altamiro Silva Junior São Paulo, 12/02/2026 - In the record legal recoveries of 2025, the ones that most affected Banco do Brasil were those in the agribusiness sector, said the Vice President of Internal Controls and Risk Management, Felipe Prince. "Today 75% of the portfolio in legal recoveries is provisioned," he said in an analysts' teleconference. Prince highlighted that BB sought to be vocal about the legal recoveries in the agribusiness because many of the recoveries in the segment had no real basis, only motivation from law firms. In this context, the Justice system ended up denying some requests for legal recoveries. As for individuals, delinquency is forming in non-earmarked credit and credit cards, Prince said.
