Brazil: Beef exports in November cool down

After eight straight months of revenue exceeding US$ 1 billion a month, total beef exports cooled in November and foreign exchange inflows stood at US$ 872.7 million. In volume, the movement also presented a drop: the last four months were of exports above 200 thousand tons and in November they dropped to 173,783 tons. According to ABRAFRIGO, in the year, total beef exports have already reached the sum of US$ 12.2 billion in revenue, against US$ 8.5 billion in the same period of 2021, a growth of 44%. In volume, handling until November reached 2,158,786 tons, compared to 1,716,000 tons last year, growth of 25.8% over 2021. Beef imports from China, until November, provided revenue of US$ 7.48 billion, a growth of 93% over 2021, with US$ 3.88 billion. In terms of volume, growth was slightly lower.
