Paraguay: Beef exports to Georgia grow

In the 31 days of the first month of the year, Paraguay exported 893 tons of beef to Georgia for a value of USD 2.9 million. This figure exceeded the records of the last year, considering that at the end of 2022, 332 tons were shipped, which generated USD 1.1 million. For a long time, Georgia was characterized as a traditional destination for Paraguayan pork and poultry meat. According to Senacsa data for 2022, our country exported an average of 27 tons of beef per month to this market for USD 52,515 from May to November, however, the volume of income and shipments took a big leap since December from last year.
