In January 2023, Paraguay saw a significant increase in beef exports to Georgia, shipping 893 tons for a value of USD 2.9 million, a notable rise from the 332 tons valued at USD 1.1 million sent in the same period last year. This surge has positioned Georgia as the seventh largest market for Paraguayan beef. Other significant markets included Chile, Brazil, Taiwan, Russia, Israel, Angola, Ghana, and Uruguay. Despite an increase in volume of -9%, the total income from these exports in January 2023 was -3.5% lower than January 2022, reaching USD 106.1 million.
