Beer in Doha is the most expensive in the world

The price of beer varies enormously in the capitals of the world. While in Bujumbura, Burundi, a British pint (568 ml) costs the equivalent of 0.53 euros, about 210 forints, in Doha it is offered for about 23 times as much, for 12.06 euros, about 4,740 forints. According to a survey by the "finder.com" comparison portal, the average price of a half liter of beer in the big cities of 166 countries is around 3 euros, i.e. 1,180 forints. The data needed for the comparison comes from the databases of Expatistan and Numbeo providers, which publish price indexes for the cost of living in cities and countries around the world. According to the assessment, beer in many African countries is particularly cheap in global comparisons.
