Moroccan berry exporters have experienced a rebound in growth in the first quarter of 2024, with a 20% increase in fresh berry exports compared to the previous year, setting a new record for the industry. The country exported 66 thousand tons of fresh berries, including 26.7 thousand tons of blueberries, 22 thousand tons of raspberries, 912 tons of blackberries, and 15.5 thousand tons of garden strawberries. The majority of these exports were to EU countries and the UK, with the UK becoming the leading importer.
