Biological protection ensures a healthier cycle

Biological protection throughout the entire cycle has become a key element for maintaining the health of crops, especially at the beginning of plant development. Fungi responsible for leaf spots remain in crop residues and find ideal conditions for new infections during periods of high humidity, which makes it risky to wait for the first symptoms to begin management. Among the available alternatives, producers have been turning to preventive biological solutions that strengthen plants and reduce the inoculum present in the field. The use of this type of technology has accompanied the expansion of the bio-inputs market, which in the 2024/25 crop season totaled around 156 million hectares treated, an increase of approximately 15% over the previous season, according to a survey by CropLife Brasil with the consultancy Blink.
