To what extent do prices of agricultural land follow the grain market situation and how do poor yields in Dobrudja reflect on the chernozem market? These are the main questions asked by those wishing to invest in agricultural fields. The picture of yields from the main field crops in recent years is more than tragic, especially for spring crops. It is a fact that growing corn and sunflower has long been unprofitable in Dobrich region. The low yields are caused by the lack of rainfall during the most important phases of crop vegetation, extreme temperatures, and drought, which further burns the surviving plants. Only wheat continues to "cope" under these conditions and proves that in the Granary of Bulgaria, it is one of the most profitable crops.
