Boeun-gun announced on the 23rd that it exported 80 tons of Shingo pear produced by the Boeun Red Clay Pear Farming Association to Taiwan this month. It has been exported continuously every year since it first entered the Taiwanese market 21 years ago. Starting in 2019, we also turned our attention to Vietnam, shipping 123 tons as of last year. Red pears produced in the red clay fields of this region are famous for their sweet, crunchy texture and rich juice. 120 farms grow pears on 61.2 hectares of land, and most of them have received Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) certification.
