"The Bolivia brand is very special, we have very good quality meat. Now we are above $200 million and we hope that next year we can export double to grow and stabilize our homeland," said Marco Antonio Gutiérrez, secretary of the Confederation of Livestock Farmers of Bolivia (Congabol), as quoted by Red Uno. The livestock sector highlighted the efforts that allowed the entry into the Egyptian market; however, it asked the Government to continue opening more destinations and to guarantee legal security for producers, in addition to strengthening actions against cattle rustling. On Friday, December 5, President Rodrigo Paz announced that Bolivia will export beef and chicken to Egypt.
