Brazil's soybean production and exports for 2023 are projected to exceed expectations, with a record output of 153.6 million tons and exports reaching a record 92.3 million tons, according to Brazilian oilseed lobby Abiove. This is due to local farmers harvesting a bumper crop and strong Chinese demand. Domestic soy processing is also expected to reach an unprecedented 52.5 million tons, while soyoil and soymeal exports are anticipated to increase due to a drought in Argentina reducing soy supply.
