REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA — President Director of Bulog Ahmad Rizal Ramdhani ensures that the export of rice for the needs of Indonesian Hajj pilgrims in 2026 will not disrupt the domestic supply. Bulog is carrying out the government's assignment to prepare Hajj rice amidst the national rice stock which is considered very sufficient. Rizal said Bulog received direct instructions from President Prabowo Subianto and Coordinating Minister for Food Crops Zulkifli Hasan. According to him, the volume of Hajj rice is relatively small compared to the available national stock. “Oh, it’s very small. Our stock is 3.2 million tons, so there is no problem,” said this three-star general retiree when met at the Coordinating Minister for Food Crops Office, Jakarta, Monday (9/2/2026).
