From January to November, the state shipped 867,72 thousand carcass equivalent tons (TEC), which represents an increase of 14.28% compared to the total for 2024. According to Imea, the result is driven by the diversification of shipments to newly opened markets and the strong demand from China for beef protein. In the same period, the slaughters in Mato Grosso totaled 6.85 million heads, a volume 0.27% higher than that recorded between January and November of last year.
