Within the framework of the 1st FICACAO, Promperú organized a trade mission and a Business Clinic aimed at strengthening the exportable offer of the area.

The Peruvian Commission for the Promotion of Exports and Tourism (Promperú) organized, from December 10 to 13, a trade mission in the framework of the I International Fair of Excellence Cacao (FICACAO), held in the district of Pichari, Cusco, in the area of the Valley of the Rivers Apurímac, Ene, and Mantaro (Vraem). With the objective of learning about the origin, quality, and the processes of harvesting and post-harvesting of the cacao from the area, Promperú invited six international buyers from Russia, France, Canada, the Netherlands, and Germany, interested in cacao and derivatives for the development of long-term commercial relationships. As a result of this mission, business for 250 tons of cacao is expected, with an estimated value of more than S/5.7 million.
