Brazil is set to become the world's leading bovine meat exporter in 2022, with expected shipments of 2.95 million tons, a 27.1% increase from 2021, according to the US Department of Agriculture. The country has seen significant growth in beef exports, with a 25.8% increase in tonnage and a 44% increase in revenue, reaching 12.2 billion dollars until November. China and the United States are the primary importers, with China's imports experiencing a 93% increase in value and 59% increase in tonnage. Despite a decrease in tonnage, Chile's imports of Brazilian beef saw a 29.2% drop in price, making it the third most significant destination.
