Brazil and Cameroon discuss new partnerships to strengthen the cocoa chain

The Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock (Mapa) received, this Wednesday (25), at the Ministry's headquarters, the delegation of the Republic of Cameroon, continuing the proposal for a bilateral partnership that foresees the exchange of experiences and cooperation to enhance and revitalize cocoa farming in both countries. Among the agendas of the meeting was the formalization of a visit to the African country, still in 2024, so that Brazilian technicians and researchers can learn about the Cameroonian cocoa production and management model and, in an exchange of experiences, present the good practices and sustainable techniques used in the development of Brazilian cocoa farming.
