Brazil has achieved the qualification of 46 establishments for exporting poultry and swine meal to China. The authorization marks a concrete advance in the commercial relationship with Brazil's largest agricultural partner and opens new opportunities for the animal recycling sector. This new stage was only possible after the signing of the bilateral Sanitary Protocol in April 2023, followed by the conduct of on-site audits by the General Administration of Customs of China (GACC), and the completion of the sanitary certificate model agreed upon between the competent authorities of the two countries. A total of 46 poultry and swine meal establishments were qualified. In addition, four fish meal establishments were also qualified. The authorization covers units with different production profiles, expanding the scope of companies able to serve the Chinese market.
