Brazil (especially its politicians) is once again insisting on an alleged dumping that could affect Argentine shipments of milk.

A year ago, Brazil launched an initiative to try to demonstrate cases of dumping by Argentina and Uruguay, linked to powdered milk exports. The proposal was intricate, but it had a first definition last August, in which it was decided not to apply compensatory tariffs. But the process continued and now it must begin to have a conclusion that did not occur. That is why a controversy is now revived with other ingredients.
