The governments of Brazil and the Philippines have concluded negotiations on the sanitary requirements for the export of Brazilian bone-in beef and beef offal to the Asian country. With over 118 million inhabitants and increasing consumption of animal protein, the Philippines is a strategic market for the national agribusiness. In 2024, Brazil exported more than US$1.5 billion in agricultural products to the country, among which meats, cereals, flours, and products from the sugar and alcohol complex stand out.
