Brazilian coffee exports in 2022 reached a record revenue of US$ 9.233 billion, with a total of 39.350 million bags shipped, despite a slight decrease in volume compared to the previous year. The higher prices of coffee and favorable exchange rates contributed to this achievement. However, logistical and geopolitical issues led to a decrease in the volume of some shipments, such as those to Russia. Despite these challenges, Brazil remained the world's main coffee supplier, with the United States, Germany, Italy, and Belgium as the top importers. Arabica coffee was the most exported variety, accounting for 86.6% of the total. The decrease in canephora (robusta + conilon) shipments was noted, but it had its positive aspects.
