A publication showcasing Brazil's contribution to global climate action in the agricultural sector was presented at the 30th Conference of the Parties (COP30) of the UNFCCC in Belém, Brazil. The guide, titled in Portuguese "Management of Animal Production Waste for Methane Mitigation: Brazil's Contribution to Global Climate Action," utilizes Brazilian experience to offer a practical and replicable roadmap to support countries, especially from the Global South, in developing low-carbon national strategies. The publication is the result of collaboration between the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock (Mapa), the Brazilian Agricultural Research Corporation (Embrapa), Instituto 17, and the Climate and Clean Air Coalition (CCAC). The document was technically reviewed by experts, including Airton Kunz from Embrapa Swine and Poultry, and Ricardo Kobal Raski and Sidney Almeida Filgueira de Medeiros from Mapa.
