In July 2024, Brazil's sugar exports saw a significant increase compared to the previous year, with a total of 3.78 million tons exported, which is 28.5% more than July 2023. The value of these exports also increased, reaching 1.73 billion dollars, up from 1.49 billion dollars in the same month last year. Despite the increase in volume, the average price per ton of sugar exported from Brazil in July 2024 was lower than in 2023, at 457.2 USD/t compared to 506.3 USD/t.
