Brazil increases imports of Vietnamese pangasius in the first quarter of the year

In the first quarter, exports surged to nearly US$28 million, a 44% increase from the previous year, with volumes rising by 79% to almost 7,000 tonnes. Despite a 12-14% drop in average export prices, the volume of exports grew significantly. Vietnam remains the largest supplier of white fish meat to Brazil, with key exporters including Hung Ca 2 Corporation, South Vina CO., LTD, Hoang Long, Cafish, and Frozen Food Vietnam.
