During the first half of 2025, Argentina achieved exports worth 39.000 billion dollars, reaching the second highest value for a start of the year in FOB terms. The performance was driven by the strength of the main export complexes, according to the analysis prepared by Natalia Marín and Emilce Terrì, from the Rosario Stock Exchange (BCR). At the forefront was the soybean complex, which generated 8.514 billion dollars, reaffirming its role as the engine of the export economy. It was followed by the oil-petrochemical complex (5.197 billion), corn (3.960 billion), and the automotive (3.154 billion). Completing the list of the most outstanding sectors were gold and silver mining (2.194 billion), the beef and bovine hides complex (1.951 billion), and wheat (1.798 billion).
