The Brazilian Association of Animal Protein (ABPA) and Apex-Brasil have introduced the 'Brazilian Duck' international brand to increase the export of duck meat. The brand is part of a larger series that includes 'Brazilian Chicken, Brazilian Pork, Brazilian Eggs' and 'Brazilian Breeders.' In 2020, Brazil exported 3,500 tonnes of duck meat for US$ 9.2 million. The primary markets for this brand are Asia and the Middle East, with Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Peru, Qatar, Kuwait, Japan, and Hong Kong being the main destinations.
