Brazilian egg exports have seen a significant increase, with a 150.6% year-on-year rise in January and February 2021, reaching 3.2 thousand tons. The United Arab Emirates, Sierra Leone, and Japan were the main importers. This success is attributed to the strategy of leveraging the existing distribution networks of poultry companies in the Middle East. However, the market is becoming increasingly competitive, with other countries like Turkey, Ukraine, and the US also operating in the region. The key to Brazil's success may lie in the direct capital ties of its poultry exporters in the Arab countries.
