According to the October edition of the monthly newsletter “Agro em Dados,” prepared by the State Secretariat of Agriculture, Livestock and Supply of Goiás (Seapa), Brazil exported 103 million tons of the soybean complex between January and August of 2025, a 3.2% increase compared to the same period of the previous year. In the state, the exported volume reached 12.4 million tons, a 6.6% increase compared to the previous year. This result secured the second position in the national export ranking, behind only Mato Grosso. According to the publication, “the performance reflects the increase in production, industrial expansion, and the state's strategic position for the outflow of the harvest, factors that strengthen logistics and consolidate Goiás as one of the main export hubs in the country.” In the 2024/25 crop, Goiás also achieved the second national position in soybean production, with 20.7 million tons, surpassing Paraná.
