Brazilian melon exports stagnated in November

Contrary to expectations, Brazilian melon exports in November did not exceed October. Exports tend to increase during this period due to larger orders before the end of the year, but this was not the case in 2022. According to sources, exports in November amounted to only 27,000 tons, down 23% from the previous month and 44% from the same month last year. The main destinations in that period were: the Netherlands, with 33% of the total amount; Spain, with 28%; and the United Kingdom, with 20%.
