Brazilian soybean exports hit a record in 2025

According to the weekly analysis of Imea, released this Monday (8) based on data from Secex, Brazilian soybean exports reached a record in 2025. "The total until August amounted to 86.54 million tons, an increase of 3.72% compared to the same period in 2024," the institute reported. Despite a drop of 23.81% compared to July, the 9.34 million tons shipped in August represented "the highest volume in the historical series for the month, an increase of 16.13% compared to August 2024," the analysis highlighted. The performance was attributed to demand from China, which, amid the trade dispute with the United States, "kept its focus on Brazilian soybeans." In Mato Grosso, a record was also registered in August, with 1.25 million tons exported, an advance of 118.08% compared to August 2024.
