In October 2024, Brazil's pork exports saw a significant increase of 40.7% from the previous year, reaching 130,900 tons and nearly tying the country's all-time high record. The export revenue for the month also surged by 56.4% to $313.3 million. From January to October 2024, Brazil's pork exports increased by 10.7% to 1.121 million tons, generating a revenue of $2.482 billion, a 5.2% increase compared to the same period last year. The Philippines emerged as Brazil's largest market for pork exports, importing 206,000 tons, a 103.3% increase, followed by China, Chile, and Japan. Santa Catarina continues to be the leading region for pork exports in Brazil.
