From January to November 2024, China's tea exports increased by 1.1% to 339,600 tons, generating US$1.291 billion, but the average price per kilogram fell by 19.7% to US$3.8. The export of green, jasmine, and black tea increased, while other types decreased. Niger and Algeria saw the largest increases in export volume and value. On the other hand, tea imports rose by 35.5% to 48,714 tons, valued at US$141 million, with black tea, green tea, jasmine tea, and Pu'er tea imports increasing, and the largest increase being black tea imports from Vietnam.
