The General Directorate of Agricultural Enterprises and the General Directorate of Agricultural Research and Policies in Turkey produce 1.2 million doses of high-quality frozen bull semen annually to improve cattle breeding productivity. The Sperm Production Center in Malatya Sultansuyu Agricultural Enterprise is the largest producer of frozen bull semen in the country, with approximately 38% of the total production. The first export of 7,200 doses of frozen bull semen was made to Azerbaijan, with plans to export 30,000 doses annually to improve meat and milk yields in their cattle breeding industry.
