Turkey: Bursa black fig received geographical indication registration from the EU

Minister of Agriculture and Forestry İbrahim Yumaklı shared a post on his social media account regarding the issue. Stating that good news regarding registration came from Bursa black figs, Yumaklı said, "Bursa's black figs became another Bursa delicacy registered by the EU after Gemlik olives and Bursa peaches. Thus, the number of our registered products from the EU increased to 26. We said yesterday that new ones would be added to the list, and more will follow."
