Kazakhstan, as the leading producer of sunflower oil in Central Asia, is considering financing a reduction in inflation for the product in neighboring countries. The country has seen a significant increase in sunflower oil production, with a 81% rise over the past eight months. Despite this, Kazakhstan is still behind Ukraine in sunflower oil and seed production. The country's agricultural potential could potentially double in the near future, leading to an export potential of 1.5 million tons of vegetable oil. However, this could only be achieved with the right policy and not continuing the trend of subsidizing most of the agriculture.
