Cambodia approves establishment of cashew industry center

Speaking at the 2024 annual meeting of the Ministry of Land Management, Urban Planning and Construction held at the end of November, Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet said he had agreed to the proposal of Kampong Thom province on the establishment of a cashew industry center. The cashew industry center will be formed on the basis of using public land funds granted by the Government, and investing in cashew growing and processing projects from the private sector. This initiative is expected to be an effective solution to create jobs and bring stable income to local people and neighboring areas.
