Cambodia is evaluating the potential of exporting dragon fruit to China, following the successful exportation of bananas and mangoes to the country. China's fruit imports exceeded $10 billion for the first time in 2020, with dragon fruit imports reaching $550 million, a 53% increase from the previous year. Currently, Vietnam dominates the Chinese market for dragon fruit. In response, Cambodia is preparing to supply dragon fruit to China and is also considering the exportation of longans and coconuts.
