The Government of Canada has invested CAN$1 million to help the Association of Veterinarians of Quebec develop a digital tool to reduce the risks of metabolic diseases in dairy cows. The tool will help producers work more efficiently, reduce economic losses, and improve veterinarian intervention skills. The tool will use artificial intelligence to analyze risks during the production cycle and will be made available online to dairy farmers and veterinarians, allowing them to quickly direct corrective actions to improve animal health and welfare.
