On the evening of October 23, in Ho Chi Minh City, Cargill Vietnam held a ceremony commemorating 30 years of establishment and 30 years of accompanying Vietnam in nurturing the world. Cargill has been present in Vietnam since February 1995 with its first representative offices in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City. In October 1995, Cargill Vietnam Co., Ltd. was established. In December 2009, Cargill Vietnam became the first U.S. company granted a license to directly distribute goods in Vietnam. Currently, Cargill Vietnam has 1,500 employees working at various facilities across the country. Cargill Vietnam operates in the fields of nutrition and animal health, food ingredients and beverages, agricultural supply, steel, and specialized feed ingredients and imported meat.
